What happens in a typical treatment?

All treatments begin with an informal chat about your overall health and to outline your expectations for your session. During this time Reiki will be explained to you and you will have opportunity to ask any questions you need to. You will then be treated on the Reiki treatment couch. My form of Reiki is non-contact so is suitable for everyone. Post treatment, we will discuss your experience and any findings and then your next booking can be made if you wish to.

How do I book a treatment?

You can book in for treatments via the book now page or directly via email or by texting the contact number.

How much does it cost?

Reiki treatments cost £40 per session. This is payable on the day via cash or contactless or you can do a bank transfer before the treatment if you prefer.

Do I need to let you know if I need to cancel?

Absolutely! Please give a minimum of 48 hours notice for cancellations otherwise appointments are chargeable. Missed appointments are also chargeable.

Where are you based

The Reiki Room Long Eaton is located above The Martial Arts Centre (don’t worry, noboby is downstairs during reiki hours, so it is always peaceful and quiet). It is at 85 Fields Farm Road, Long Eaton - use NG10 3FZ for satnav.

How many sessions will I need?

This will be entirely up to you! I will advise, but I will leave it up to you. It is always best to book before you leave to ensure you have the best chance of getting the timeslot which works best for you.

Do I need to wear certain clothing?

Just wear what makes you comfortable. You will be lying down on the couch, covered by a blanket. Anything is fine really.

Have you got parking?

Yes! When you pull off Field’s Farm Road, you will see the Martial Arts Centre. Park on the tarmac in front of this building. The Reiki Room can be found through the door at the left of the building.

Have you got a waiting room?

There isn’t a waiting room, so please be mindful that if you arrive early, you may have to wait until the client before you has finished. I will come out to get you when it is your appointment time.

Have you got any stairs to negotiate?

Yes, to get to the treatment room there is a flight of stairs. There is a handrail for support on one side.

Do you offer training in Reiki?

Yes I do. I teach all levels of Reiki from 1st degree up to 3rd degree Master/Teacher level. The training is accredited by the UK Reiki Federation and I keep the training courses small. I find this helps anyone who is anxious about learning in large groups and I feel it also makes for a more thorough, personalised learning experience.
